Atty. Dan P. Calica

Chairperson

Mr. Dan P. Calica graduated Valedictorian of Class 2000 of the College of Law of the University of the Philippines and joined the Philippine Bar in May 2001.

Mr. Calica was the Chairperson of the Philippine Law Journal of the U.P. College of Law for School Year 1997-1998 and was a recipient of the Dean’s Medal for Academic Excellence and Award for Excellence in Academics given by U.P. Law Class 1972. Mr. Calica was a consistent member of the Order of the Purple Feather of the U.P. College of Law and a beneficiary of the Chief Justice Fred Ruiz Castro and Justice Malcolm Trust Fund Scholarships.

Mr. Calica taught in several law schools and is also a lecturer on several topics in the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (“MCLE”) Program for lawyers. He served as a member of the Code of Crimes Committee which submitted a draft of a new penal code to the House of Representatives in January 2023.

Mr. Calica served as Bar Examiner in Criminal Law in the 2024 Bar Examinations chaired by Associate Justice Mario V. Lopez and administered by the Supreme Court of the Philippines on 8, 11 and 15 September 2024.

Rafael E. Seguis

Vice-Chairperson

He started his career in Foreign Service when he joined the Department of Foreign Affairs as Technical Assistant until his last position as Undersecretary for Civilian Security and Consular Concerns, receiving several awards and recognitions. He obtained his degree in Business Administration from the University of the East and passed the Certified Public Accountants Board Examinations. He also attended postgraduate studies at the American University in Cairo and the Ateneo de Manila Graduate School of Business. 

Atty. Gil Carlos R. Puyat IV

Trustee

A graduate of San Francisco State University with a degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Laws at the Lyceum of the Philippines Law School.

Atty. Lievj Raoni B. Alimangohan

Trustee

A lawyer who specializes in corporate and commercial transactions, corporate governance, project management and public administration. He has served in the Philippine Competition Commission, Office of the President of the Philippines and the House of Representatives of the Philippines.

Atty. Aileen San Juan Manalo

Trustee

ATTY. AILEEN SJ. MANALO was a college graduate from the University of Santo Tomas with a degree in Bachelor of Commerce – Major in Economics. She completed her Bachelor of Laws in Arellano University School of Laws and was admitted to the bar in 2007.

She was part of the legal team of one of the largest privately-owned Philippine commercial banks in the country. Afterwards, she became one of the legal counsels of a conglomerate with diversified business activities that includes beverages, banking, and property development, among others.

Danilo Crisostomo V. Singson

Trustee

After he finished his Management Engineering degree from the University of Ateneo de Manila, he joined a polyester manufacturing company where he exposed himself to deliveries, shipment, and inventory control. It was when he started his career in logistics, warehousing, and shipping management. He also holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business.

Herman Emiliano M. Medina-Cue

Trustee

He has an impressive 36-year experience in the private sector spanning various Multinational Corporations, with expertise in operation and financial management. He has proven his strong strategic, operational and execution skills by ensuring a significant profit turnaround on every account he has handled.

He graduated with a degree in Industrial Management Engineering with a minor in Mechanical Engineering and finished his MBA studies at De La Salle University – Manila.
